Animal Tracking - where did my animal go?
To help the largest number of families move toward self-reliance, we do not use our limited resources to track gifts from donation to distribution. We use your gifts where they can do the most good by pooling them with the gifts of others to help transform entire communities.However, it is possible to know which project received your gift by simply designating a gift for the project of your choice. Our website highlights several of our projects that need funding and would be beneficial in helping you to decide on a project to support. You may donate directly through the website, call, web chat or mail your check, money order or credit card payment to us and make sure you include the project you wish to support. If a project is already fully funded, we reserve the right to use the funds where needed most and this will be communicated to you on your tax receipt/acknowledgment letter.
Please note that if you designate your donation for a specific project, you may not designate a specific animal as well. We do not tell the communities which animal they will be receiving. The individual communities decide which animal would work best for them.
We do, however, monitor animal distribution as part of our routine accountability process, and records are kept for monitoring and evaluating project performance.
