Donation of Livestock

Generally, we do not accept donations of animals. To follow our animal well-being best practices, the majority of the animals we use are purchased in the country in which they are needed. Even within the United States, due to logistical, security and health concerns, accepting, transporting and managing donations of livestock is an overwhelming undertaking, and the costs associated outweigh the benefits. For those reasons, we normally recommend selling the animal and then donating the proceeds to us in situations like this.
